“Transatlantic Soul” is a collaboration between Toronto hip hop artist, Divo and award-winning French composer, GMJ. The two casually recorded tracks over a period of a few years and decided it was finally time to let the world hear them. The result is a cohesive fusion of head nodding, soul-sampled beats intertwined with introspective and witty lyrics.

In 2020 Guatemalan-Canadian rapper Divo has teamed up with producer Atwell to release the two-disc EP “Generation Next”. The single “Loyalty” landed on Spotify’s “Rap Skills” playlist as part of Atwell’s “Above the Clouds” album and is now featured on their joint project. ... more
